2026 Construction Notice

Beginning in spring 2026, several construction projects will be taking place in Governor Nelson State Park. Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays during daytime hours and will last through summer. The park will remain open, however, some facilities may be closed on certain dates throughout the construction time period.

Construction dates are subject to change. Updates to the Governor Nelson State Park construction project will be posted to this page. (Updated 1/9/26)
