2026 Construction Notice

Several construction projects will be taking place at Governor Nelson State Park throughout 2026. Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays during daytime hours and will last through summer. The trails, beach and pet swim areas are all open for use, however, toilet facilities are currently unavailable. The beach buildings and the fish cleaning building will be closed until at least the end of September.
