Camping near the trail is available throughout the year near the trail at campgrounds in the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest, Lake Kegonsa State Park, Capital Springs State Recreation Area and at the Sandhill Station State Campground 1 mile south of Lake Mills on Mud Lake Road.

Sandhill Station State Campground
The Sandhill Station State Campground has 15 walk-in, tent-only campsites nestled in secluded oak savanna. Wellwater and vault toilets are available in the campground and showers are available at the Glacial Drumlin State Trail Headquarters in Lake Mills. Firewood is not sold at this campground but is available from local vendors.
