Concessions and Rentals
Council Grounds State Park
The Friends of Council Grounds State Park rent boats in season. There is also an adaptive kayak available for rental. Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis from the park office. Rentals are for the day only and equipment must be returned before the office closes. Office hours are posted at the office window.
Types of boats available for rent include:
- Single kayak
- Double kayak
- Adaptive kayak
- Stand-up paddleboard
- Canoe
The cost is $30 for each boat and includes paddles and life jackets. Boats are stored at the boat landing. Upon payment, renters receive a key to access their rental along with the paddles and life jackets. Contact the park at 715-536-8773 for more information.
