Accessible Cabin Availability
Wisconsin State Park System
Mirror Lake and Buckhorn Accessible Cabins: The accessible cabins at Mirror Lake and Buckhorn state parks will be tentatively closed during parts of the 2026 camping season due to construction projects.
- The Mirror Lake cabin is expected to operate from Aug. 4 to Oct. 14, 2026. The cabin will be closed from May through Aug. 3, 2026.
- The Buckhorn cabin is expected to operate from May 1 to July 31, 2026. The cabin will be closed from Aug. 1 through the remainder of the season.
Park staff will schedule reservations during operating dates. However, applicants may request reservation dates during the closure period. Should the projects be completed earlier than anticipated, staff will work to backfill available dates.
Note: The accessible cabins are for use exclusively by people whose physical disability makes use of traditional camping facilities difficult. Reservations for the 2026 season begin on Jan. 10, 2026.
