Natural Heritage Inventory Portal
The Natural Heritage Inventory (NHI) database is the most comprehensive source of rare species data for Wisconsin. These data are used for a variety of purposes including research, land management, state land master planning, community planning, conservation planning and review of public and private activities across the state. The NHI Portal is currently available to DNR staff and those outside the DNR who hold a data sharing license.
