Contact proper authorities to report dam failure or public concern for dam safety.

• Refer to the emergency action plan for your dam.
• Contact local emergency government. In many cases, this can be done by dialing 911 (only in an emergency).
• Contact the state warning center at 1–800–943–0003, press 1 and ask for the DNR duty officer.
