The following information is the latest Chinook salmon processing information for our facility on Strawberry Creek. We will post new information to this site every TUESDAY at 4 p.m. from October through early November. Depending on water conditions and the number of fish in the weir, fish are usually processed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Strawberry Creek Weir Report for Oct. 19, 2023
The final salmon processing day at Strawberry Creek took place on Oct. 19, 2023. Six salmon processing days occurred at Strawberry Creek this fall on Oct. 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, and 19. The numbers of Chinook Salmon processed for data and removed from the pond each day respectively were 1,132, 574, 924, 581, 495, and 236 (a total of 3,942). Overall, 650 female Chinook Salmon were spawned and over 3.4 million eggs have been collected. An additional 51 Coho Salmon were processed for data and removed from the pond. This work at Strawberry Creek typically occurs on Mondays and Thursdays starting around 9:00 AM, during the first 3 weeks of October.
