The following information is the latest Chinook salmon processing information for our facility on Strawberry Creek. We will post new information to this site every TUESDAY at 4 p.m. from October through early November. Depending on water conditions and the number of fish in the weir, fish are usually processed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Strawberry Creek Weir Report for Oct. 20, 2022
The final salmon processing day took place at Strawberry Creek Weir on Oct. 20. A total of six salmon processing days occurred at Strawberry Creek on Oct. 3, 6, 10, 13, 17 and 20. The numbers of Chinook Salmon processed for data and removed from ponds each day respectively were 408, 1220, 651, 992, 441 and 443 (a total of 4,155). Overall, 574 female Chinook Salmon were spawned and over 3.2 million eggs were collected. Strawberry Creek is closed for the season, but make plans to visit next year. Salmon processing typically occurs on Mondays and Thursdays starting around 9:00 AM, during the first 3 weeks of October.
