Strawberry Creek Weir Facility

The following information is the latest Chinook salmon processing information for our facility on Strawberry Creek. We will post new information to this site every TUESDAY at 4 p.m. from October through early November. Depending on water conditions and the number of fish in the weir, fish are usually processed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Strawberry Creek Weir Report for October 23, 2025

The seventh and final salmon processing day at Strawberry Creek took place on October 23. The seven salmon processing days occurred on Oct. 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, and 23. Numbers of Chinook salmon processed for data and removed from the pond each day respectively were 1,486, 505, 1,424, 640, 1,355, 965, and 420  (total 6,795). A total of 631 female Chinook salmon were spawned and over 3,250,000 eggs were collected. An additional 22 Coho salmon were processed for data and removed from the pond. Salmon processing work at Strawberry Creek typically occurs on Mondays and Thursdays starting around 9:00 AM for the first 3 weeks of October. The facility is closed for 2025.
