Strawberry Creek Weir Report

The following information is the latest Chinook salmon processing information for our facility on Strawberry Creek. We will post new information to this site every TUESDAY at 4 p.m. from October through early November. Depending on water conditions and the number of fish in the weir, fish are usually processed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Strawberry Creek Weir Report for Oct. 8, 2026

The second salmon spawning day at Strawberry Creek took place on October 8. A total of three salmon processing days have occurred at Strawberry Creek this fall on Oct. 1, 5 and 8. Numbers of Chinook Salmon processed for data and removed from the pond each day respectively were 648, 878 and 1,070  (total 2,596). So far, 370 female Chinook salmon have been spawned and over 1.5 million eggs have been collected. An additional 7 Coho salmon were processed for data and removed from the pond. Work at Strawberry Creek typically occurs on Mondays and Thursdays starting around 9:00 a.m., during the first 3 weeks of October.
