Strawberry Creek Weir Report

The following information is the latest Chinook salmon processing information for our facility on Strawberry Creek. We will post new information to this site every TUESDAY at 4 p.m. from October through early November. Depending on water conditions and the number of fish in the weir, fish are usually processed on Mondays and Thursdays.

Strawberry Creek Weir Report Oct. 21, 2024

The seventh and final salmon processing day at Strawberry Creek occurred on Oct. 21. The seven salmon processing days occurred at Strawberry Creek this fall on Sept. 30, Oct. 3, 7, 10, 14, 17 and 21. The numbers of Chinook salmon processed for data and removed from the pond each day were 476, 161, 1,086, 836, 1,143, 673 and 205 (a total of 4,580). A total of 598 female Chinook salmon have been spawned and nearly 3.5 million eggs were collected. This work at Strawberry Creek typically occurs on Mondays and Thursdays starting around 9:00 a.m., during the first 3 weeks of October.
