DNR Highlights Habitat Restoration Partnerships
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is proud to highlight partnerships with several external organizations that help improve public land and habitat across our state. Earlier this year, the DNR added two new partnerships to the growing list who help strengthen the DNR's mission to protect and improve habitat for wildlife species.

DNR Confirms CWD In Second Wild Deer In Wood County
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) confirms a wild deer tested positive for chronic wasting disease (CWD) in Wood County in the town of Rudolph. The deer was a 3-year-old doe, reported sick and dispatched by local department staff.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the City of Beaver Dam is an applicant for funding through the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) to improve its public drinking water system. The project includes the construction and restoration of watermain and sanitary sewer lines along Currie Street.
