DNR To Host Virtual Public Hearing On Draft Environmental Impact Statement On Proposed Enbridge Line 5 Pipeline Relocation

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will host a virtual public hearing on Feb. 2 on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement that the department has prepared for the proposed relocation of the Enbridge Line 5 pipeline in Ashland, Bayfield and Iron counties.

DNR Confirms CWD In Wild Deer Harvested In Monroe County

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) confirms two wild deer tested positive for chronic wasting disease (CWD) in Monroe County during the fall 2021 hunting season. The two deer were adult bucks harvested in the towns of Ridgeville and Glendale. These are the first confirmed wild positive cases of CWD in Monroe County.
