Check Out Wisconsin State Parks At Your Library

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced a pilot program to make state park and forest vehicle admission day passes available to 1,000 library card holders at 20 libraries across Wisconsin.

Rib Mountain State Park Draft Master Plan Available For Public Review And Comment

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking public input on the Rib Mountain State Park Draft Master Plan, which describes proposed future public use and management at the park. The public may submit comments through a variety of opportunities, including a public open house meeting from 4-7 p.m. on Nov. 3, 2022, at the Northcentral Technical College, Center for Health Sciences Building (Room 1004A/B), 1000 W. Campus Drive in Wausau.

Feed Leachate Discharge Near Fond Du Lac County’s Lomira Creek

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is working with a local dairy farm to respond to a discharge of feed leachate to a tributary of Lomira Creek. The farm, Clover Hill Dairy near Lomira, was able to stop the release and is removing polluted water from the stream.
