Learn About Green Bay Walleye And Muskellunge Management On Feb. 7
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) invites the public to join DNR staff members on Feb. 7 at the DNR’s Green Bay Service Center for the second meeting of a six-part series focused on northeast Wisconsin fisheries management.
The spotlight series will highlight various fisheries in Green Bay and inland waters in northeast Wisconsin over the next two months. This meeting will focus on walleye and muskellunge management in Green Bay.
Jason Breeggemann, DNR Fisheries Biologist, will talk about the history of these fish species in Green Bay, how they are managed, how fisheries staff use research results to inform management decisions and upcoming research and habitat restoration projects.
The meeting will be held in person and via Zoom from 6 to 8 p.m.
