Wisconsin Natural Resources Magazine Welcomes Fall

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced that the fall issue of Wisconsin Natural Resources magazine is now available in print and online. The issue is full of compelling stories and important information to help you enjoy the season.
The latest edition of the DNR’s quarterly outdoors magazine features an in-depth cover story on wild rice in Wisconsin. Wild rice, or “manoomin” in the Anishinaabe language, is an important cultural resource that faces climate threats and other challenges. Read about the struggles of wild rice and efforts through a variety of research projects to provide a boost for this vital but vulnerable resource.
