Public Seed Collecting Extravaganza

Fall is harvest time at Lakeshore State Park!

By October, most of our native prairie species have gone to seed. Join our Naturalist for a hike to find and collect the seeds from species such as golden alexander, prairie clovers, wild onion, milkweeds, goldenrods, coneflowers, yarrow and many more!

Hike will begin at the park’s South Entrance, and all ages and abilities are welcome.
