Antlerless Rifle Hunt

The National Deer Association is happy to announce the 2nd annual Monroe County Field to Fork!
This course will be a three-day rifle hunt held from Sept. 27-29 near Ontario, WI. We will focus on how to properly handle and fire a deer rifle, deer hunting tactics, biology, butchering and cooking. Camping will be available on-site during the event, and there are also lots of fair-priced Airbnbs in the area to choose from. We are also just a short drive from a few hotels.
Course requirements:
- Completion of Hunter's Education - Contact Brock Rosenkranz if you have not yet completed Hunter's Ed
- Completion of NDA's online Deer Hunting 101 course - Free code will be provided upon sign-up
- Completion of Sept. 27 range day
The course fee is $50, and that includes your ammo, food and some giveaways. Firearms will be provided at this event.
Schedule:
- Sept. 27 - Range Day at Wilton Gun Club, 2-6 p.m. (ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED)
- Gather at Airbnb for dinner and fire
- Sept. 28 - Hunt with mentors on private land
- Butchering demonstration with harvested deer
- Venison cooking demonstration
- Sept. 29 - Continue the hunt if not yet successful.
