Fall Festival
Description
Celebrate fall colors at Copper Falls State Park's Annual Fall Festival.
This year's event features black ash basketry and live owl presentations, culminating in a guided hike with Professor of Geoscience Tom Fitz along the scenic Doughboy's trail.
Local vendors will be on hand with food and fine arts and crafts. For family-friendly fun, check out cider pressing, pumpkin painting and T-shirt printing for kids or bid on a raffle item.
DNR staff will be on hand with firefighting equipment, and Smokey Bear will be visiting - make sure to wish him a happy 80th birthday!
No pets, please; park pass or tribal ID required.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the Professor Fitz guided geology hike from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. For details and the day's agenda, visit the Friends of Copper Falls website.
