Pavilion Dedication

-

Description

The Friends of Copper Falls State Park invite the public to celebrate the culmination of years-long efforts to realize the vision of former Park Superintendent Kent Goeckermann.

Join the Friends group and guest dignitaries for refreshments at the dedication ceremony of this beautiful addition to the park. The multi-use, three-season, reservable pavilion in the upper picnic area is available for park programs or private events. The building's architecture honors Copper Falls’ rich history of Doughboys, Civilian Conservation Corps and Work Progress Administration craftsmanship.

Funding for this project has come from generous donations, local fundraising and Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Grant funds. No pets, please; vehicle permits or tribal ID required.
