Join Friends of Poynette Game Farm for an exciting and educational “Learn to Hunt Pheasants” event at Pine Island State Wildlife Area, where novice hunters can deepen their understanding of pheasant hunting. This comprehensive day will kick off with a detailed hunter safety class tailored to pheasant hunting, followed by engaging discussions with local conservation wardens and wildlife biologists about conservation efforts and wildlife management.

Participants will get hands-on experience in safe gun handling and trap shooting techniques while also enjoying live demonstrations by skilled hunting dogs showcasing their abilities. The event will culminate with an exhilarating pheasant hunt, offering a perfect blend of education and practice in the field.
