Invasive Plants Hike

Description

Learn more about the invasive plant life around Havenwoods – this event will focus on Wild Parsnip, Teasel, and Thistle. Hear a short presentation and take a hike to see them along the trail. During the hike, we will compare areas full of invasive plants and non-invasive plants and share info on plants and more. The presentation will last 15 minutes and be followed by a 90 minute-hike covering 1.5-2 miles.

Consider Bringing: Insect repellent, water bottle, snacks, hat, sunscreen. Dress according to the weather.
