Invasive Species Removal - Naturalist's Backyard

Help us maintain and keep improving the native biodiversity of our Naturalist’s Backyard area by removing invasive plants!

You’ll learn about the different invasive plants as they change throughout the season.

Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, sunscreen/insect repellant and dress for the weather. If you have a pair of work gloves to use, great! If not, we’ll have some to borrow for the day, along with knee pads, shovels and other tools. Please bring your own water bottle (there are water bottle filling stations in the Nature Center).
