Family Deer Hunt Day
Description
This event is being hosted by Pheasants Forever, the National Deer Association, Raised at Full Draw and Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc in collaboration with OHEC and the Wisconsin DNR.
This event is open to all new hunters, families, and anyone that wants to learn more about deer hunting. Whether it is your first season, your first solo hunt, you have successfully harvested a deer but want to know more, or you are just deer-curious - this is the event to come to! There will be opportunities for you to shoot a bow, crossbow, and traditional bow, try out new or different tree stand or blind methods, learn how to scout the woods and identify deer sign, and learn a venison cooking technique.
There will also be a deer butchering demonstration so you know what to do after your successful hunt!
