Perseids Meteor Shower

Join our naturalists to see the magical Perseids Meteor Shower, considered the best meteor shower of the year!

The Perseids are visible in the Northern Hemisphere every year from mid-July to the end of August, with this year’s peak happening Aug.12. Meteors are seen very frequently during the Perseids, from 50 to up to 100 per hour!

Meet at the park’s south entrance, near the red lighthouse. All ages and abilities are welcome.
