Fossil Hike

-

Description

What does Lakeshore State Park have to do with Niagara Falls?

Come learn some Wisconsin geological history as you explore the Lannon stone lining the park, searching for fossilized coral, trilobites, brachiopods and cephalopods.

All ages and abilities are welcome. However, the hike will be along the rocks on a non-paved path, so it may be difficult for those with strollers, wheelchairs or difficulty walking.

Meet at the park’s north entrance, just west of Discovery World.
