Alien Invaders - Invasive Species Awareness Day

Celebrate Invasive Species Awareness Day at Wisconsin's state parks.

Come spend a morning on the Whitefish Dunes beach learning about the invasive species of Lake Michigan. This drop-in program will be set up on our first beach, where folks can stop by and learn about aquatic invasive species, interact with live specimens and find out how to prevent their spread. A Wanted Poster station will be set up for kids to make and take home with them to help spread the word about these Alien Invaders.
