Free Fishing Weekend — Jr. Fisheree

Youth ages 12 and under are encouraged to invite the adults in their lives to learn to fish at the Lake Mills Optimists' Jr. Fisheree. Learn how to identify fish and understand fishing regulations from Lake Mills State Fish Hatchery staff and your local DNR warden. Loaner fishing gear and bait donated by Gollon Bait Farm are available. Prizes and a hotdog lunch wrap up this community fishing event. The area is wheelchair accessible.
