Learn To Fish – Fly Casting: Dane County

Meet up with the Fishmobile in the City of Madison Parks. Every Wednesday will be a new fishing adventure at a different park with the DNR's Fishing in the Neighborhood Interns — the FiN'terns. On this Wednesday, you'll get a chance to cast a fly into Lake Monona and try to land a hungry bluegill. Where noted, some require pre-registration with Madison Parks; most are drop-in. Open to all ages. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Fishing licenses are required for anglers ages 16 and older. Get yours in advance on Go Wild. Participants must sign a waiver for themselves and their children or children who are under their legal guardianship or supervision.
