Native Arts and Culture of Teewakącąk: Native Art Marketplace

-

Description

Join us to engage and enjoy the art and culture of the area’s Indigenous peoples.

Come to the family-friendly pop-up markets featuring Little Eagle Arts Foundation roster artists who will grace the north shore of Devil’s Lake. A variety of Native American artists will demonstrate and sell their art, with media ranging from paintings, baskets, jewelry and more.

Each day will culminate with a live performance by Ho-Chunk cultural ambassador and performance artist Elliott Funmaker and Troupe. This program was made possible by an Incentive Grant from The Friends of Wisconsin State Parks and funding provided by The Friends of Devil’s Lake State Park, The Little Eagle Arts Foundation and the Sauk County Arts, Humanities and Historic Preservation grant.

This event will happen outside the Rock Elm Shelter (north shore).
