Falconry is a part of human heritage – a long-practiced lifestyle where a trained raptor hunts wild prey for its handler. This program will explain the rich history of falconry around the world, falconry basics and how one can become a falconer. You’ll get to meet the River Valley raptor bird and even observe one fly from glove to glove just as it would during a hunt.
