Battling Invasive Species at Bong

Description

Invasive plants compromise the survival of native plants. Learn about the types of invasive plants growing at Bong and methods to control them.

The short presentation will be followed by an outdoor activity which will allow participants the opportunity to identify garlic mustard and assist with its removal.

Meet in the Visitor Center auditorium. The program will take place in the Nature Explore Classroom and surrounding area.

This program is targeted towards adults and families with middle through high school-age children.

Gardening gloves are recommended.
