First Day Hike

Description

Please join us for a self-guided wildlife and history hike or ski!

The hike will take place on the Junction Trail – going north from the Depot Visitor Center. The ski will be on the Red Cedar State Trail – going south from the Visitor Center.

Meet at the Menomonie Depot Visitor Center parking lot (912 Brickyard Road, Menomonie, WI 54751).

Annual State Trail passes will be available to purchase and required for skiing.

The Visitor Center will be open with restrooms inside. This event may be canceled due to weather.

Red Cedar State Trail and the Junction Trail are both flat, linear trails that used to be old railroad beds. If interested, bring your binoculars.
