Learn to Hunt- Youth Waterfowl

A classroom session will be held on Sept. 9, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Burlington Conservation Club in Burlington, WI.

In this session, attendees will learn the basics of waterfowl biology, identification, hunting techniques and regulations, followed by shooting practice! the, on Sept. 16, you will go on a mentored hunt for waterfowl (hunters age 16 and older will be goose hunting) in various locations around the Racine/Kenosha-County area. Firearms and ammunition will be provided, but students may use their own shotgun, if available. The program is free and open for any novice hunters age 12 or older (or grade 6 and up).
