Learn to Hunt Waterfowl

Adults only event.

Hosted by Wisconsin Backcountry Hunters & Anglers.

In this class you will learn the biology and techniques for hunting waterfowl. There will be a virtual meeting Aug. 31, followed by a range day Sept. 10 at the McMiller Sports Center (100 Walters Rd., Eagle, WI).

Finally, you will have a hunt weekend (Sept. 16 and 17) where you will hunt on public land, paired up with an experienced mentor.

All hunting equipment will be provided.

No prior hunting or firearm experienced required.

Prerequisites:

Must complete Hunters Safety
Valid Wisconsin Small Game Hunting License
Valid Wisconsin Waterfowl Stamp
Valid Wisconsin Goose Permit
Valid Federal Duck Stamp

The cost of the class is $35, which will cover food & drinks for the weekend, will also get you a year-long Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Membership. Payment to be collected at range day on September 10.
