Discover Loon Lake: Invasive Yellow Iris

Description

Interested volunteers can help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species and enjoy the beauty of Loon Lake firsthand. Paddle the lake with park staff and the Ashland County Land & Water team to learn about and control aquatic invasive species (AIS) on Loon Lake.

Volunteers are welcome. An adult must accompany children. B.Y.O. non-motorized craft or sign up at the park office by 9:30 a.m. for boat rentals (kayak or paddleboard). Life jackets will be required/provided, with limited boats available at $10/hour. Rain date: June 22. No pets, please.
