Learn To Fish

Description

Meet up with the Fishmobile and learn to fish!

All gear and bait will be provided. Bring a hat, sunglasses and a fillable water bottle.

Instruction by DNR staff and certified volunteers includes how to:

• Choose and use a fishing pole and bait
• Tie a fishing knot that won’t break, no matter how big your fish
• Know which fish is which
• Know if it’s a keeper – is it legal and should you eat it?
• Cook your catch
• Get a fishing license

Participants ages 16 and older will need fishing licenses.
