WATER OR SKY DRAGONFLY?

-

Description

There are more than 160 species of dragonflies and damselflies in Wisconsin. Join naturalist Phyllis McKenzie to discover how these amazing insects survive above and below the water’s surface. First, we’ll get familiar with these colorful insects; next, we’ll see if we can scoop up some aquatic nymphs, and then we’ll go in search of adult dragonflies and damselflies with nets in hand. Binoculars are a great tool for dragonfly watching! Bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and a bottle of water. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the locked gate near the entrance to the campground, near parking lot P4.
