National Trails Day Celebration

Description

Join us to celebrate National Trails Day with Dane County Parks at the Capital City State Trail/Lower Yahara River Trail Trailhead! This is also Free Fun Weekend, so all park activity fees are waived.

There will be free butterfly weed or rose milkweed seedlings for the first 100 people, kid's nature craft and scavenger hunt activities, Lil' Explores nature activity for preschool-age children, disc golf practice baskets and more! 

Dane County Parks will have park information and permit sales. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will offer park and trail information and recreation resources. 

Karben 4 Brewing will sell beer and nonalcoholic beverages, with 10% of sales donated to Dane County Parks. And Dane County Healthy Parks Healthy You will be handing out healthy snacks.
