Wisconsin Women's Woodland Gathering

-

Description

Join us for the opportunity to enjoy casual conversations with other women landowners and learn from their experiences. You'll also have the chance to connect one-on-one with local natural resource professionals who can answer your questions and provide resources to help manage your woods.

You have two options. At the Saturday gathering, you will learn about Wisconsin's forest community and ways to find the help you need. A variety of topics will be available for you, such as caring for your woodlands, creating wildlife habitat, invasive plant identification, foraging, and learning about pollinators.

You can also plan on coming earlier on Friday for an overnight evening of dinner, fun activities and time to socialize with others. You will be able to discuss all your forestry questions in a relaxed atmosphere. And if you like, you can enjoy a sunrise bird walk with a wildlife biologist on Saturday morning before breakfast.

This event is an excellent opportunity to connect with other women landowners, gain valuable knowledge and insights, and improve your woodland management skills.

When:
Friday, May 19 - Optional overnight for networking and socializing, starting at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 20, from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (with an optional sunrise bird walk at 6:45 a.m. and breakfast for Friday overnighters in the dining hall at 7:30 a.m.)
