Hunter Instructor Certification Training

Interested in teaching and recruiting new hunters to join the Wisconsin hunting community? Attend this certification training to become a new Volunteer Safety Instructor for the Wisconsin DNR Hunter Education Program. Existing instructors are able to receive their recertification at this training as well. 

This training covers instructor requirements, how to run a class and how to conduct DNR-approved lesson plans. Lunch and/or snack items may be provided.

Instructor candidates must be at least 18 years old and a graduate of the recreational program they wish to instruct. There is no cost to this training. A background check is conducted on all applicants. This is NOT a student certification class for new hunters.
