Mirror Lake First Day Hike

Naturalist Marty is back to start us into the new year with an easy two-mile hike. Marty will tell a bit about the history of Mirror Lake and the geology of the area. Boots are recommended, especially if we have snow. Depending on the depth of the snow, snowshoes may make the hike more fun. The park office will be open from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. to purchase your 2023 Annual Park Stickers if you don’t already have one.
Meet at the Beach Picnic Area/Winter Rec Area. The Sandstone trail is accessible with an all-terrain wheelchair. It is not a plowed pathway, but sections of the route are on snow-covered paved surfaces.
