Learn to Ice Fish

Description

Learn to ice fish. This event is hosted by Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) on Pewaukee Lake. No experience is necessary. All equipment will be provided. BHA will provide food. All participants must have valid fishing licenses.

How to sign up: Search "Fishing for Dinner" in Waukesha County at gowild.wi.gov. 

Schedule:

Noon - 2 p.m.: Classroom portion covering where to fish, regulations, ice safety, fish ID and techniques, equipment, etc. The exact location is TBD
2-5 p.m.: Fishing on Pewaukee Lake
5-6 p.m.: Possibly cooking our catch or the option to continue fishing if the night bite is good!
