Join A Forest Cleanup! | 10 – 11 a.m. | Nature Center

Take part in the Girl Scouts Service Project: Pick Up America! Meet at the Havenwoods Nature Center to receive all the materials you will need to safely help clean up litter. Take a selfie with a DNR Naturalist showing how many bags you collected! All ages, families and the general public are welcome. Make your pledge to pick up litter from public lands here: https://pickupamerica.com/girlscouts

Animal Homes | 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Nature Center

Learn what makes a good home for an animal and take a walk to locate some animal homes right in Havenwoods. Finish the program by meeting some of our favorite animals! Pet a snake and greet a turtle – our ambassador animals are looking forward to meeting you! This activity is best suited for kindergartners through fifth graders and is part of the Girl Scout Climate Challenge.

Make And Take Seed Bombs | Drop-In Event Between 1 & 3 p.m. | Nature Center

Native wildflowers and grasses benefit our community in many ways! Come learn how native plants help people and the environment. Instructions and materials will be provided to make your own seed bombs to help our bees, butterflies and other pollinators thrive.
