Up Close—Live Birds of Prey

-

Description

The Friends of Hartman Creek State Park invite you to see live Wisconsin raptors up close. Aves Wildlife Alliance will bring five or six birds of prey which may include hawks, falcons, and owls.

Birds are a highly specialized group of animals that are not only beautiful to see but play a critical role in helping to maintain a healthy environment.

Learn how raptors work for us and what makes them different from your usual backyard birds. Beka Weiss and her assistants will happily answer your questions and discuss bird biology and natural history. Let the birds guide you on this fun, feather-filled adventure.

This event will go on rain or shine and is great for all ages. No pets, please.

Located at the Hartman Lake Enclosed Shelter.
