Description

There are more than 200 species of dragonflies and damselflies in Wisconsin. Join naturalist Phyllis McKenzie to discover how these amazing insects survive above and below the water’s surface. First, we’ll get familiar with these colorful insects, then we’ll see if we can scoop up some aquatic nymphs. Next, we’ll venture along Marsh View Road past the closed gate to the bridge in search of adult dragonflies and damselflies. Binoculars are a great tool for dragonfly watching! Bring insect repellant, sunscreen, and a bottle of water. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet at the boardwalk entrance by parking lot P10.
