Bat Day

-

Description

Bats are our friends! The Nature Center will be set up with a variety of learning stations, activities, and helpers designed to teach all about bats and why we need them. We’ll help adults learn about pollinators, how to make bat houses, and create bat-friendly environments. Learn about what kinds of bats we can find in Wisconsin, what they eat, where they live, why they do not drink your blood, and why they especially need our help right now. Did you know that the little brown bat eats its weight in mosquitoes every day?
