Firefly Drop-In Program

Description

If you are planning on watching the fireworks from Lakeshore State Park, be sure to stop by our table and learn a bit about fireflies and nature’s living light display. One of the few bioluminescent animals, fireflies have always fascinated folks and seem to herald warm summer nights. Meet some of our park staff who will be available to help kids craft a glow stick firefly of their own. Drop-In Booth will be set up in the big lawn area, across from Pebble Beach.

Celebrate Independence Day safely. Please remember that fireworks, grills, tents, and alcohol are NOT permitted at Lakeshore State Park.
