Crane Watch

Description

Please join us at Sandhill Wildlife Area from 3 p.m. to dusk to experience the magic of thousands of sandhill cranes returning to the Gallagher Marsh.

Meet in the headquarters parking lot and drive to the dropping-off spot. From there we will hike down to the marsh edge.

Wear camouflage or neutral-colored (not black) clothing as well as shoes or boots that can get wet (no wading planned) and rain gear if needed. Please bring cameras, binoculars, flashlight, walking stick and waterproof pad to sit on if desired.

The event will be held rain or shine. A $15 registration fee is due by October 24. Free for Friends of Sandhill members. Hosted by Friends of Sandhill.
