Description

Get to know forest birds and understory plants on a hike to Red Granite Falls with the park naturalist. The terrain is moderate; participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, bug spray, and dress for hiking and weather. This event is family-friendly. Meet at the Red Granite Falls trailhead near Loon Lake.

Later that day: After the morning hike, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., stop by the Naturalist cabin (adjacent to the main parking lot) to explore the nature center, visit the park naturalist, and participate in the activity of the day. Fun for all ages!
