Discover Loon Lake: Frog Phenology

Description

Learn about frogs, toads and other critters along the lakeshore with Park Naturalist Diane Daulton. Meet at Loon Lake Beach for a family-friendly exploration. On-the-water paddling option will be available for $10/hour beginning at 11 a.m. A limited number of kayaks and paddleboards are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Paddlers sign up at the park office before the program.

Later that day: After the beach program, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., stop by the Naturalist cabin (adjacent to the main parking lot) to explore the nature center, visit with the park naturalist and participate in the activity of the day. Fun for all ages!

No pets, please. A State Park admission sticker or day pass is required; programs are free.
