World Migratory Bird Day: An OutWiGo event (Day 1)

8 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Moraine Shores Audubon Big Sit 
Join Moraine Shores Audubon on the roof of the Sanderling Nature Center for a Big Sit. Bring binoculars & a lawn chair and help identify the many bird species migrating through the park.

Pop Up Bird Walks
Meet on the Sanderling Nature Center Roof Observation Deck. Bird walks will occur as conditions suggest.

3-4 p.m.: Bird Scavenger Hunt 
Join a family-friendly activity to learn the basics of birdwatching, including how to use binoculars and how to look for field marks, before heading out to test your skills by finding and identifying “hidden” birds along the accessible Woodland Dunes Trail. Find them all for a small prize! Some binoculars will be available for use. Meet at the south end of Parking Lot 8.
