Summer Camp For Adults – Fly-Fishing

-

Description

Summer camp isn't just for kids; it’s for adults too! Who can forget those sunny days filled with kayaking, hiking and crafts, or the starry nights of bonfires and s'mores? If you thought those days were long gone, think again!

Join us this week try fly-fishing. You'll begin with the basics of fly-fishing: casting, knot tying and fly types. You'll then get a chance to go out on the water and test these new skills in the company of a mentor. The class culminates in a demonstration of how to clean fish and some suggestions for cooking them, and then we’ll have a bonfire social. This class is limited to 15 people so please register by contacting the Nature Center at 608-356-8301 ext. 140.

Meet at the Rock Elm shelter (near the North Shore boat launch).
